Nurses
I loved the nurses at the hospital — Michelle and Janine were the first ones. During the actual birthing there were about three hundred of them in the room. Many of them were students, I think. Notes from the hospital
If your wife goes into labor, and you get two hours of sleep, these questions might run through your head while she’s getting checked out by nurses at the hospital:
Does void mean poop?
What if my wife isn’t an alcoholic, but only does street drugs? Is that a problem?
Did I really leave my three-year-old at home alone?
If I had any enemies, would I really tell you?
